been digging deeper into $A401 and ngl this is one of those projects ppl will call “just another telegram bot” until they actually understand the architecture.

Auth401 is basically building an authorization layer between wallets, onchain state and communities.

user connects wallet

→ signs a message

→ Auth401 verifies ownership

→ policy engine reads live chain state

→ evaluates the rules

→ 200 ACCESS GRANTED

or

→ 401 UNAUTHORIZED

and the important part?

it doesn’t stop after verification.

most token gates verify you once and forget you exist.

Auth401 can continuously re-evaluate whether you still qualify.

sold below the required balance?

holding period no longer valid?

wallet fails policy?

access can be revoked automatically.

and policies aren't limited to:

“hold 100k tokens = enter group”

you can build conditions around:

• token balances

• holding duration

• wallet age

• NFT ownership

• LP positions

• contract interactions

• allowlists / blocklists

• custom combinations of these rules

so technically you can have something like:

IF

wallet owns ≥ X tokens

AND held them ≥ 7 days

AND wallet age ≥ 30 days

AND interacted with contract Y

THEN → grant Telegram access.

that's way more interesting than a basic holder verification bot.

The architecture is stupidly simple to understand too:

Wallet → Auth401 → Policy Engine → Robinhood Chain → 200/401 → Community

No custody.

No random transaction required.

Wallet proves ownership through a signed message.

Telegram is just the first interface imo.

Once you have a programmable policy engine translating onchain state → permissions, you can eventually gate almost anything around it.

Communities.

Alpha groups.

DAO areas.

Trading tools.

Private dashboards.

Agent permissions.

Premium features.

Crypto has spent years building assets.

Not enough people have built proper authorization infrastructure around those assets.

that's the part of $A401 I'm betting ppl are sleeping on.

baki likes infra.

and this one actually makes sense.
