What is Battle for Blockchain (BFB)?

Battle for Blockchain (BFB) is a fully on-chain, strategic auto-battler designed to utilize the cryptocurrency $BFB. It incorporates several innovative Reward Protocols, functioning similarly to a decentralized exchange, to foster weekly competitions (known as "wars") where players can earn $BFB if their kingdom emerges victorious. The game’s economic layer is highly sybil-resistant, drawing inspiration from best practices in permissionless economic design (e.g., Bitcoin).

How to Play?

1. Attacking:

Create a Strike Force and select 16 or 24 units depending on the size of the region you’re attacking.
Arrange your units in the preferred order and equip them with special items for enhanced abilities (details on items later).
Battle Commencement:
If an opponent joins and sets their troops, you can start the battle.
If no opponent joins, start the battle when the timer hits 0 for a free win.

2. Defending:

Before Public Defense: Create a Strike Force to defend an incoming attack if the battle timer hasn’t reached 5 minutes.
Public Defense Mode: Once the timer goes below 5 minutes, anyone from the defending kingdom can provide troops to defend.

Kingdom Upgrades

Wars and Rewards

Winning a war yields substantial benefits for your kingdom:

Winning Treasury Split: Up to 50% of the losing team’s $BFB pool is distributed among the winners, based on performance during the siege phase.
Dripped Rewards: Smart contracts issue additional rewards over time, following a halving protocol similar to Bitcoin. Early-game rewards are higher.

Siege Mode

The siege determines how much of the losing team’s treasury the winners will claim. It consists of three stages:

Gate
Inner City
Throne Room

Each stage grants 10% of the losing team’s treasury to the winners, starting at 20% for reaching the siege.

The losing team cannot attack during this phase but can acquire free troops to defend.
Each stage requires 9 victories for the attacking side to secure.
