Cookies Policy

This policy explains how gg.xyz and the gg web app use cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Local storage is a similar store inside your browser. They let a site remember who you are and what you chose. Some are set by us (first party), some by services we use (third party).
2. The cookies and storage we use
Strictly necessary. These make gg work and cannot be turned off.
- Privy session and authentication tokens: keep you signed in and let your embedded wallet sign transactions. Set by Privy.
- gg session and preference cookies: remember your feed and token filter settings, your onboarding progress, whether you have dismissed a banner, and your cookie choice (ggCookiesConsent).
- Security and anti-abuse cookies set by our hosting provider.
Analytics (with your consent). These tell us how gg is used so we can improve it.
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*): pages viewed, features used, device and approximate location. Retained up to 14 months. Google's privacy policy applies. - Safary (
stag.js): attribution, meaning which link or campaign brought you to gg, and whether you signed up or traded afterwards. - Vercel Analytics and Web Vitals: page performance. This service sets no cookies and does not track you across sites.
Marketing. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. Your choices
When you first visit gg.xyz we show a banner asking whether you accept analytics cookies. Choose Decline and Google Analytics and Safary do not load. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer, which clears your previous answer and shows the banner again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you signing in.
4. Changes
We may update this policy when we add or remove a service. The effective date above shows the latest version.
